Innamincka is committed to commercialising its discovered resources as soon as technical and financial conditions allow.

At present oil sales is the key focus. A marketing outlet through Port Bonython for oil sales at world parity prices is available to Cooper Basin producers.

Gas production and sales are a separate issue. Although Innamincka has discovered significant resources, the gas fields would not support a viable independent gas project. Concurrently, gas sales economics within the present Cooper Basin infrastructure and tariff arrangements are also marginal. Innamincka is thus aiming to progressively increase its gas resource base through ongoing exploration and eventually establish a significant gas operation
